It's always towards the end of an install that I get itchy about what's coming next...which happens to coincide with the new season and the hope of Spring finally springing!
So I'm currently crushing on Emerald Green, its potential to liven up an interior and getting excited about the new season and what's coming next...
The Pantone Color of 2013 is such a fitting Spring colour. So optimistic and bright and is flooding the paint charts, magazines and the ladies wear shops for the Summer. Pantone describes Emerald Green as "Lively. Radiant. Lush...A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony." Sounds great, I'd like all of that...so where can I use it?
I love these super saturated authentic green walls in Cuba - they look like a Venetian Plaster in the bold contemporary emerald green.
Try an accent of colour in a spot of Spring DIY to revive an old piece of furniture.
Or go all out with a beautiful luxurious velvet like this headboard in a bold with emerald green patterned wallpaper and whimsical accessories.
These contemporary shaped tiles in emerald using traditional Moroccan techniques partnered with the painted rolltop bath are stunning.
This all-green palette from Design Seeds shows how you can freshen the emerald green and use shades of green together.
The tones of green in this pared down tiled bench and cushions still feels calming despite the breadth of colour.
And this Emerald pocket house is so fun I'd like a little green holiday home perched by the sea like this.
Until then I'll start to plot a radiant scheme for my next client...
